Myths are records of history. Some are forgotten or forbidden from the discourse. Others possess persisting power to shape present times. Myths are carriers of culture, influencing our being and understanding of identity. They are the foundation of realities and futures.
Myths legends, and even fictional stories carry important political and societal messages. They are word-coding engraved in generations' subconscious thinking. They spread, kill, and revive. They are at work at this very moment. I often imagine future generations in thousands of years further discovering relics of our times. What are today's myths, and how do they shape lived reality? And how can we take part in changing or co-creating them?
